Avi Buffalo, the adopted name of nineteen year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist Avigdor Zahner-Isenberg, began as a solo act, but now includes the talented Rebecca Coleman (keyboards, vocals), Arin Fazio (bass) and Sheridan Riley (drums). The group met in high school, uploaded “What’s It In For” to their Myspace space, signed to Sub Pop in late 2009 and released their self-titled debut album in April of this year. The Guardian (UK) dubbed the band's self-titled debut album “one of 2010’s most startlingly lovable albums.”
