NO PICNIC

A Sundance Film Festival award winner, No Picnic is the 1986 black & white love letter film to New York City by Phil Hartman featuring Lenny Kaye, Richard Hell, Steve Buscemi, Luis Guzman and Judith Malina, shot in the East Village. No Picnic is a story about failed musician, Macabee Cohen who earns a living restocking the supplies in the neighborhood’s cigarette machines and jukeboxes, while on a quest to find his dream woman.
